On Wednesday, July 16, 2025, Football Alberta was informed by the Calgary Police Service (CPS) of the arrest of Justin Tillery, who had been serving as a volunteer coach with the U18 Female Tackle Provincial Team as of that date. Football Alberta will have no further comment regarding the arrest while the CPS investigation continues.
